Sketch Wednesday

Wednesdays are fun. I check out splitcoast for the sketch of the day, email my friends with it and then go play. Usually I have scraps all over my table from the week before so I just dig through the piles and come up with my cards.

Trying to decide what I think of the Tim Holtz distress embossing powder. It is kind of like sand paper unless I am cooking it too long with my heat gun.

Cherry chocolates

Cherry Chocolates ATCs. This background is so easy! Dry brush reinker onto glossy cardstock. Dry brush another color in another direction. Isn't it pretty!

It's with my new Elemental Doodles set - I'm loving the chocolate.

Birdy in the trees

Inspired by Karen Dunbrook and the catalog from DeVries I am so tempted to buy one of those birds for paperclips!

David's New Nest

David found a new place to call home. This is the card I made him.

He called and said he really liked the background - and I had to admit it was scrapbook paper. Now I am debating if I should mail him the bird stamp and the weed stamp ... nah, I think I will keep them. That weed is one of my favorites ... although if he likes it, ... nope, not gonna do it.

Yesterday was World Card Making Day

Somehow I am always a day late ... but I sure had a card making day today.

I should be correcting papers ... or going to bed. But I just had to make a couple more cards today.

Better to drink coffee and wake up ...

than to stay in bed all Sunday?
