Trina's beginner class

I helped at a beginner class at Trina's yesterday. These are the cards we taught.

kayak

I made this card for my brother-in-law's birthday ... I thought it looked quite manly!

Hey Amy ... how do you like my new Kayak stamp!

Just got it yesterday.

More cards for Trina.

I made 6 of the frog card above, and had the magic and rainbow cards made from awhile ago.

I actually used my sewing machine on this one ! I decided the "get well" stamp is really genuinely ugly and will probably retire the whole set - has a lot of useful sayings but not useful if I don't like the effect. So picture this card with a decent "get well" in a nice looking font.

Trina's Feb Make and take

These are the cards I made at Trina's on Thursday.

baby cards

I colored giraffes for baby cards for Trina's sale -- then scanned them and copied them! Easy peasy! Lazy me !

flower soft

I have a new toy --- it is called Flower Soft and is like schnibbles of eraser rubbings in colors. Comes in a pot and you use it like glitter. It is really fun to play with!

Birthday cards

Trina signed u to do a booth at Strawberry Festival and said i could sell some cards at her booth.  This is my first batch. They will be great for birthday cards if they do not sell.

Mike's Valentine

Inside says,

Whatever it is, you've still got it

There is a posting on the doggonestamps site of their new design team. My name is not on it. Haven't received an official word, but was kind of disappointed anyway.

Oh well, I had fun trying!

Sunday Bunday

Welcome somebunny baby dear

A new gift from heaven has just arrived here

Diapers and bottles and cuddles at night

Somebunny sweet is such a delight.

Groundhog, please don't see the sun

Won't you say that winter's done?

We're so tired of ice and snow

Time for springtime flowers to grow

( This card was made with a paint chip, a napkin and a cuttlebug -- and a bunny stamp masquerading as a groundhog!)

Be my bunny, be my dear

Be my Valentine this year!

Late owl

A late birthday card. I love using the owl tail as a feathery border!

Gosh I slept right past the day

Hope your birthday was Ok

Even though this card is late

Hope the day was super great!

Run, bunny, run!

 Another birthday chasing you down?

Feeling older by the minute?

This card contains a birthday hug

With birthday wishes in it

Bunny

I have a lot of friends, it's true

But none of them are quite like you

A real true friend is hard to find

And YOU my friend are one of a kind

I should have computer generated the wording on the front. Or at least, I could have centered it !

Ducky for Easter

Why do rabbits get all the fuss

When the real reason for Easter

 is to celebrate us!

Happy Easter,  Duckie!

First cards

My first cards with my new stamps

This was my first, and it was a hoot

I think that this owl is really quite cute!

I added some verses to make the cards cuter

And printed the text out on my computer.

        Card inside says

Life's been busy,

I've been on the run

Hope your day

Was lots of fun

Happy Belated Birthday

I played all day

I played all night

These "Doggone" stamps

are a delight

The inside verse

I printed out

(This card is shown

My card front is on printed stock

I also used a Cuttlebug block

Everything right just seems to be wrong?

Cheerful thoughts are sent your way,

Hope you're feeling better today

My stamps came in the mail!

Cats and cards, my two great loves

And as you go along my friend,
